Initial Training and Orientation

As a franchisee of The Financial Management Centre and running your own bookkeeping and accounting business you will benefit from a massive level of support, right from the start. Before launching your business you will spend one week immersing yourself in our comprehensive and intensive training course, transforming your raw talent into a polished and professional franchisee. This week covers every aspect of the franchise business model including:

  • The Financial Management Centre System and business model
  • Sales and Selling
  • Marketing and Business Development
  • Customer Service and Communications skills
  • Human Resources
  • Software training
  • Leadership and Management

After this week of training, you will be prepared to follow up leads and start to develop your business and manage your staff. Our training is delivered by a CIPD certified trainer and other members of the senior management team, this is all held near our offices in West Sussex. You will be a guest for the week and stay in pre-paid accommodation in the company of other franchisees.

A separate training course will be held for The Local Accounts Department which will be attended by those on the Fast Growth package, within the first 6 months and during the second year, for those on the other franchise packages.

Launching and Opening Support

Before you launch, The Financial Management Centre will teach you how to deliver our service and work to our tried and tested business model on a one week’s residential training week that will leave you fully prepared to manage your leads, business and your staff.
 
The marketing and PR campaigns are what create the awareness, the interest in the service and finally generates your clients.
 
The Financial Management Centre will deliver exceptional marketing campaigns by Chartered Marketers of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and supported by an award winning creative agency, who work with such brands as Café Nero.
 
Our superior marketing has been recognised for it’s effectiveness at the 2009 Franchise Marketing Awards, when we were finalists for two prestigious awards, along with other well-known brands like McDonalds and Subway.
 
As part of your franchise package, we go beyond your expectations in helping you launch your business. Nothing is left to chance. Upon your launch, a targeted direct mail will be sent to all potential clients in your area to create an awareness of your services and provide immediate leads for you to follow up (1-10 leads). Our telemarketing team will secure your appointments and supply you with all the leads in your territory, as well as ongoing telemarketing, to generate additional business so you can focus at growing your business.
 
You will be equipped with a professional website which will be optimised to ensure you gain high rankings on search engines to generate ongoing business.
 
A local, regional and national PR campaign is carried out on your behalf to extend the brand awareness and generate more interest for your business.
 
You will benefit from strategic relationships where The Financial Management Centre will refer clients from various national partners such as the leading BFA affiliated accountants, British Business Angel Association and other national firms, including national accountancy firms.
 
Ongoing Support

You will receive ongoing support after the launch of your business in all areas including technical/bookkeeping, business development, marketing and human resources. They are: -
